St. Augustine South is a large neighborhood located just south of the center of St. Augustine, Florida. To the east is Shore Drive where most of the waterfront homes are located. North of the neighborhood is Flagler Hospital.A lot of people like St. Augustine South because there is no homeowners association fee. You are allowed to have boats and RVs on your property. There are affordable homes ranging in size and most were built in the 1970s and 1980s.
There are two public boat ramps available with a few places to fish along shore drive. Douglas C. Crane Park is a nice place enjoy the intracoastal waterway or to launch you boat.
