On the east side at Brevard Street are direct oceanfront homes and on the west side at Nassau Street are Intracoastal front homes. Jellison road runs east and west down the middle of the neighborhood with homes nestled within a canopy of oak trees. I have helped many friends find a home at Crescent Beach. The waterfront homes are some of the best on Anastasia Island and there are plenty of affordable homes that are not on the water. The highway 206 bridge is just a few blocks away making it easy to get to town. Ocean grove is home to one of Crescent Beach’s well known landmarks, the former home of Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings; author of The Yearling. It was her beach house and eventually became her main home.
